Kitties

Our momma cat had kittens a couple of weeks ago. Five little fuzzy cuties. Spaying and neutering is not something that we practice on our little farm because we tend to have a squished cat syndrome that runs rampant around here~ take your choice of cows, vehicles, or tractors, the mortality rates are too high to gamble with the cost of the vet. So, instead, we bless a few grateful friends with the survivors and the other barn cats enjoy a feast of goats milk and do their job to keep the mice at bay.

The kids enjoy the adventure every spring of new babies. This year we had little white and cream colored babies~ a couple just might be keepers as I am a cat lover at heart myself.

And so is Grace. She really loves her kitties! Could there have been a better click of the camera than this??!

Barn kittens are the best! I have 4 kittens running around my barn. They are 2 months old now and the momma cat is teaching them how to catch mice already. She brings live mice to them so they can practice catching them. She's a good teacher!
