An attempt to declare the Glory of God for what He has chosen to do with our lives. A legacy to leave to my children in the telling of it.

Happy 19th!

Rob and I celebrated 19 sweet years of marriage last week. Who am I kidding? We celebrated sticking it out 19 years with many an argument, friction, growth, sanctification and learning to live with each other, but with lots of joy, laughter, children, and great memories along the way. It is amazing to me to think that I have known this man for 2/3 of my life. Yes, we were teen-agers when we met, and I was a teen-ager when we married. Actually, I was Lexi's age when we met.... what a thought! And, no, I have no intention of letting her date yet (and neither does she:)! We celebrated last month by going out to eat with friends who were married the same year two weeks before us~ fun, fun! And, ironically, those friends also lost a child in an accident and home school and have horses and he is a cheese maker. No wonder we have been friends for 19 years! All these years and we are still in love! Praise God!

That's too funny Sherry! Rob has always looked young and now that he is getting older he appreciates it more. A few years back a new wife at our church mistakenly assumed that he was my teenage son! I am still trying to figure out who she thought my husband was and how old she thought I must have been. We are good friends to this day so guess it was a funny way to meet:))))
