Tractors

Springtime means big tractors at our little farm. Again this year my big brothers, David and Steve, are renting our crop land which means the excitement of tractor rides and teasing and drinking Mountain Dew, which is a rare treat around here. Corn and soybeans are planted and fertilized already and we are anticipating some rain for the weekend to give it a good start on growing and producing an abundant crop, Lord willing.

Oh No! My boys are pacing the floor because they can't see the number on the tractor! They think it's a 4040 or 4050 series but they can't tell! Even as I was sitting at this computer they were on the other one looking up tractor data stuff. They are obsessed! We take the looooong route to get groceries every week so they can scan fields. They are happiest when on a tractor!

Thank you! The very first thing the boys did was go to tractordata.com to check it out! They just HAD to know the horsepower and how it compares to our tractors! Now they are discussing going to an auction tomorrow to look at a different baler. But it has been SO refreshing to finally see farmers in the field after such a wet spring.

I love reading your posts! I am a suburban girl, but my roots are agrarian. I was born and raised in Montana and my grandparents farmed. So I always think about the farmers and pray for the Lord's blessing on their fields.
The Lord brings you to mind often too and I pray for you.
Blessings on your day!
