Catch and Release

We operate on a catch and release program at the pond. Twenty-four hours maximum is all those poor little croaking critters have to endure being captured. Unless, of course, Lady the dog catches them first or I forget that the poor little hopping buggers have been in a bucket in the granary for a week.

I'll have to add "put your frogs away" to the chore list I guess.

That's funny. Have you ever cooked frog legs? They're pretty tasty!

I've heard mention of that around here lately Brenda! The boys have learned to be pretty good wild game chefs and cook up what their mother won't~ fish on a stick, grasshopper legs over the campfire, mountain oysters, river clam, and many little wild critters have crossed their lips but not mine. I like farm raised pork or beef:))
