Clothespins and Sunshine

I am cheap. Okay, maybe frugal. Or better yet, I am living green. But really, I just don't like paying high electric bills. In my caffeine overload moments I consider shutting down the electricity for several hours a day altogether. But then I realize how much I like hot showers. And coffee. And honestly I probably would forget everyday to shut it down until the electric bill comes in the mail again.
The sun was shining and my new/used washer works just great so I hung the jeans outside to air dry the other day. Of course maybe there's a Fair winning photo opportunity as well. It makes me want to wash every set of sheets and quilts in the house and hang them out to dry so we can crawl into beds of pure sunshine. But then I always forget to hang them out and have to throw the whole load in the dryer at 9:00 at night. Who am I kidding??!

Oh we are so alike! I too, have delusions of grandeur regarding hanging ALL the clothes out EVERY day and going without electricity for a while. HA! When I DO get the clothes hung out, it usually ends up raining on them before I get around to taking them down. Lol. I enjoyed your pictures, though! :)

When I was a kid, my mom washed our laundry in one of those old electric ringer washers and hung all the laundry on the line to dry. I love the smell of sun-fresh clothes! The jeans are a little stiff to get into though. :D
