Laying Down on the Job

The warm, muggy weather we have been having has not only made me tired, but the horses also it appears. Chance has always been a horse that likes to lay down alot, even though he is 10 years old. I am finally getting used to seeing him laying down for his afternoon nap nearly every day. It still makes me nervous, tho, to see such a large horse laying out there flat on his side. Alexis took some great pictures of him. Being Solomon was laying down sleeping, too, I took advantage of it for a little extra lovin' and training. Like always he just layed there and took it without any bother. Of course that friendly steer thought it was his time to have some lovin' too. Get! Shoo!
Ya know, steer, you're really buggin' me.
Enough already!
Fine, fine. I'll just pretend you're not there. Good boy Solomon!

LOL that steer is so funny!!

When I had my horse Tessa, it ALWAYS made me nervous to see her laying flat out on her back in the middle of the pasture. I thought that she was dead! =) I was always thankful to see her twitch an ear or a leg or something like that!

Please tell Alexis that I really like the pictures, and that she did a REALLY great job!

God Bless you all!
