Quite a Trip

Our family just returned from one of the best/ strangest/ saddest/ busiest trips of our lives. It involved lots of states. Lots of bridges.
One tall tower.

Lots of wildlife.
Lots of prayer and scripture.
Lots of snuggling.

Lots of hats.
Lots of hairspray.
Lots of swimming.
Lots of doughnuts (the real, original, hot, glazed Krispy Kreme doughnuts that are only a memory up North).
Lots of movies.
Lots of meeting friends, new and old.
Lots of spotted baby goats.
And more spotted goats when we got home.
As the time and the coffee allow I will hope to share more soon my friends!

So glad you're home. We spent a lot of time thinking of, and praying for your family while you were away, as well as spent time reading back through How My Savior Leads Me. So many good words there!

A goat in your van?! This I need to hear more about! LOL! Those Mamas at home didn't want to wait for us, huh? What a sweet homecoming surprise for you though. We can't wait to see them =)

Love you all-

I'm glad you made it home safely. I don't have words to describe my pleasure of getting to meet you in person and the time we shared here on the farm. These are memories I will treasure the rest of my life.

It looks like your new babies have lots of pretty spots!

Be Blessed!

They were yummy donuts Heather:)) We feel your prayers as a covering of joy at this time~ thank you! God is good!

So sorry to keep you in suspense Cathy~ promise I will try to tell the whole story soon. We didn't get home until 2:00 A.M. so I'm a bit tired, but can't wait to share! Still one more goat due this week, so hopefully Paige will get to be here for a delivery.

Brenda~ Ditto! Visiting you and your goats was a highlight of the trip! I am still smiling just thinking about it! My camera batteries died as I was trying to take pictures, so soon I'll get some good ones of the new kids~ they are so unbelievably cute and spotty! We were teasing Russell this morning because he totally missed seeing the new spotted buckling in the barn as he came to check out the goat mommas:)) He also found it funny that we took him for an 11 hour ride home! I have spotted goats everywhere!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you again for that handsome little guy Brenda! Hopefully his legacy will live on a long time around our farm.
