Ladies~ Thank you for sharing this walk with us! Know that God's plans and God's grace are greater than ours. We have been rejoicing since Friday for the good work that God has done! We have prayed for over 12 years for Trent to go to heaven one day and to be used by God in a mighty way~ and God has honored that. Who are we to complain when and how?? Trent died in a skiing accident with his youth group in Duluth, MN. In God's sovereignty he went just the way he would have wanted to go, in the woods, instantly. God's mercies have been many and amazing! We are praising him for them! Feel free to share the photo and our message on facebook (I understand it is already on there) or your blog as we are trusting God to use this for salvation for many and long for the real story of God's glory to be known through it. I am just now reading about your loss. I am so sorry. I can tell you that the grace and peace that God is giving you right now in your time of need is a huge witness. I will be praying for you and your family.
Terri, you are a strong woman. I know that you are "Strong in the Lord and in the Power of His might" and that you "wear the Whole Armor of God"!

your faith has been so inspiring and I have put your blog up on my facebook page. God's timing....there are several formerly godly men discussing their lack of faith over jobs and the economy and life in general. You're standing on God's promises at this time is glorifying to Him and encouraging to His people. I know it can't be easy for you. I know you do not know me, but my mom showed me your blog, and I read the story of your son this morning.
I cannot even imagine the pain and sorrow of losing your son, and yet your example of praising Jesus in the most difficult of circumstances is incredible! I praise Him for the grace He has given you to be able to glorify Him through your son's death. I pray that if I ever lose a loved one, I would be able to respond in the same way that you have. God is so good!
