An attempt to declare the Glory of God for what He has chosen to do with our lives. A legacy to leave to my children in the telling of it.

The Books

Bear with me~ Blogger is being a bugger and won't let me into the template to change this crazy background of books. It can't be me and my technically challenged computer savvy-ness, I'm sure:)) I registered my complaint/request to the required parties and hope to be able to figure it out soon, after I tackle the laundry pile, make a few meals, and finish a couple of projects that are high on the list before the sunshine is gone.

While I'm working on that, check out this beautiful blog that so eloquently states what I only wish I could have said: http://hisgracehisglory.blogspot.com/2012/10/considering-halloween.html

Follow up~ the book background is gone, the fancy header I stayed up way too late to create only comes up blurry, still can't get into the template changing thingy to even make the font bigger, and the laundry isn't caught up either.... eventually I'll get back to finish up here.

Found your blog Googling something about calves this spring....read the whole thing backward because I couldn't stop. Odd how that one action has made such an impact on my daily thoughts from then on and influenced my dealing with my own five children and goats. ;-). Very meaningful. I carry an image in my mind of your precious son kneeling at that maple tree the day you went to tap...

Jan~ Praising God for how He has moved in your life, and for revealing to me a glimpse of His work. Thanks for sharing, you've encouraged me greatly. I had to go back to that post after reading your comment~ it seems like a lifetime ago and brings more tears. It's amazing to look back and try to comprehend the plans that God has for our lives and how He orchestrates them for His glory. The longing for heaven and trust in Jesus still reigns, and nothing here compares.
