Redneck Farmers

You haven't truly lived until you've experienced the excitement of hauling two Black Angus bull calves two-and-a-half hours one way in the back of your minivan. For some reason the word "Redneck" keeps rolling through my brain.

  1. I love it!! Hey, at least it was a shorter trip than the goat home from Missouri!! What do you think those people behind you were thinking?

  3. Kind of like my husband moving me from Louisiana to Missouri with a Uhaul with a pregnant dog ready to deliver any minute, 2 rosebushes and a cat all in the cab with him! LOL...Hugs from Mama Hooch

  4. That's great! I hope the calves didn't make a mess in the van. I hauled one home from a local dairy one time that turned around and relieved himself on the dashboard of the pickup.

  5. Very funny. I saw a pony sitting in the front seat of a Cadillac once going down the Interstate here in Ok.

  6. Love it!!! Reminds me of the episode on Duck Dynasty where Willie had to go pick up goats for his mom in his SUV.
I found your blog from Pinterest, I think. I am very interested in making soap. I have learned a lot from your posts, and hope that I can ask you some questions before I try my first batch!

  7. Laughing at all your comments, ladies! We've been known to have a pony in the minivan before, too:)

Thanks Kris! Ask away and I'll try to answer your soapy questions, maybe even with a picture post:) If you prefer, leave me a comment with your email address (I won't post it) and I can reply to you privately~ Terri
