800 Billion Years Later

As the speaker said at camp last weekend: "There will come a day in eternity when you have your 800 billionth birthday, and if that isn't hard enough to grasp, there will come a day in eternity when you can't remember your 800 billionth birthday." Today I can barely get past Monday morning and the fact that it's six-and-a-half months later. Off to peel a billion or so apples . . . Lord willing, I'll be back later to blog about it.

  1. Eternity is a long time. It's hard to wrap out minds around it. Hummm... food for thought.

  2. Whoa! that means we won't even have to think in "time". Nice. I do so like your header.

Now if I was really on the ball I would make one for every season . . . like, say, Fall . . .

  5. Micah and Cole have dibs on the next header! ~:)

So odd you mentioned eternity...we were at a family Fish Fry last night and my nephew, Steve, (who was visiting from CA) and who just returned from tornado-torn Alabama (mission work), spoke of people's concept of eternity...or lack thereof.

Beautiful photos Terri ~ simply beautiful.

  6. If I could ever get Cole and Micah to sit still for a photo they could be on a header, too, Sherry! I might have to bribe them with chickens or chocolate!

The lighting was so perfect at the lake that night:)) Thanks, sometimes you get lucky!
