I love the pics of your horses and kids! It shows that you DO something with them. I see so many horses around here in OK but I never see anyone doing anything with them! Keep up the good work! Makes me wish I was younger and had one! Take care and God Bless.
Thanks for all of your sweet comments Ardith:)) They encourage me greatly! The conviction to work with the horses as much as we do really comes from a few years ago when I was trying to convince Rob that we needed a step-up horse for Alexis, she had nearly outgrown her pony and was getting to be a better rider so we needed a 4th horse. In order to prove to him that we needed that horse I committed to be faithful in using the horses, both to him and myself. It is a conviction that I keep trying to live up to and one that has pleased him greatly. I love the horses, but with little kids for so many years they did sit idle here, too. Every critter on our farm has to have a purpose of some kind and the horses are certainly just for pleasure and don't pull their weight financially so we better be getting alot of pleasure out of them.
